    Look if you just use: A/(x+1) + B/(x+3), the numerator of the result will not be a quadratic. So you need to make sure the degrees of the polynomials are mantained. Hence A + B/(x+1) + C/(x+3) You can also understand this by using the formula: Dividend = (Divisor * quotient) + remainder

    yes it was very tough. However the thereshold will never drop below 47. The lowest it has ever gone was 47. It can never reach 40. Just keep your hopes high. ;)
