    yep i chose that too, ice expands so molecules are further apart, and both have the same temp, 0 degrees, so the avg ke of the molecules is the same too :)

    i think they mentioned that the wires had the same dimensions, which makes the cross sectional area the same. The graph i think was a force extension graph, and stress = force / cross sectional area so from the graph the force basically tells you about the stress on each wire (since the areas...

    for the graph i chose the ultimate tensile strength is the same, for brittle materials the graph it a straight slope and then sudden fracture, but one of the graphs was a curve...they were breaking at the same force though so i chose that

    dont memorize them all...see the formula, find the relationship between the 2 quantities and the graph will be a piece of cake!
