    LUMS Business School

Nooooo, you do BBA/BS or whatever first. Then work for a couple of years before doing your MBA. MBA is a masters degree, you can't do it without having an undergrad. No I don't think so. Mail/call Lums and ask them

    LUMS Business School

HMMmmmmmm :D Yes it is! I'm going there so I'll deffo side with it :D The thing is its very new and over the past few years progressed alot. It's people from other cities who think it isn't that good, but being from Isb, I can safely say its the best business school in the twin cities. And I...

    LUMS Business School

I have no idea, heard nothing but good about it, though in my opinion it is a Wanna be Ivy League uni. Didn't know uptill now that Management is a new program at Lums.. anyway their MBA is what its known for (thus a business school) so BS management is kind of the bachelors of the same. As said...

    LUMS Business School

LUMS graduates earn a starting salary of some 70k average I guess, with some exceeding 1 lakh. LUMS Management science is a very good program too, its as useful as a BBA, and LUMS is the best business school. IBA was past, its standard has fallen over the years. Although LUMS is the best...

    Confused :/

That means they (LSE) may consider applicants with business studies and 2 other "hard" subjects. But Business and Eco out of 3 subjects would most likely not be accepted. (0ut of 4 subjects, then there is a possibility) Accounting I think is considered a "hard" subject at most other...

    LUMS Business School

Don't know which major is preferred by the bosses, but I would pick Management out of the two. It includes acc/fin and alot more subjects, acc/fin is basically narrower. I think. Those grades are good enough, apart from that you need to do well on their entrance test. Coca Cola, Pepsi, Unilever...

Worth getting English Lang (9093) rechecked?

It is. Haha, I guessed English would be my grace-saver :D but turned out the other subjects went pretty good and english was an utter dissapointment!

Worth getting English Lang (9093) rechecked?

Maybe there was some error on their part?

    Economics?Is it easy enough

Yes that combination is fine. Accounting is tough but doable, if you can put in the effort.

    Economics?Is it easy enough

For complete A level maybe. As most of the people I talked to who took the exam were totally unsatisfied with their grades. Those expecting A's or B's ended with D's and E's.

    Economics?Is it easy enough

If you're taking 4 subjects then you can take both economics and business. If you're taking 3, you can take both, but to be on the safe side just choose either eco or business.

    Economics?Is it easy enough

That I can't answer, because it solely depends on you.

    Economics?Is it easy enough

No I'm not in touch with forum members here. Not sure about the book. I studied AS from some notes I bought from a photocopier. And A2 with our teacher's worksheets. You can get an A with a little guidance and practice.

    Economics?Is it easy enough

Yeah alot of people opt for Eco as a 4th subject in A level with Phy/Chem/Maths. You can definitely do Economics in A level without a commerce/business background. In fact I did self study for AS, studied 4-5 days for the exam, and just took Eco A2 at school in the last semester. I think I went...

    Economics?Is it easy enough

English Language was previously AS level only, since June '14 its a complete A level... the examiners were NOT lenient at all!

Worth getting English Lang (9093) rechecked?

It sucks... I feel for you. Same here, I never considered English Language a subject requiring more than a day's study. The same way, I just went through some notes half an hour the night before my O level English exam (I was the only one in my class to appear in O1) and got an A. I opted for...
