    I am getting a=4 everything else is correct... the whole question is correct except for this stupid little thing... I had an equation from P(-1/2) => a=-2b-2 got the correct value for b when I put this value of a in the other equation but when i put b=-3 in this to find a after that ... i get...

    As far as I know.... they will just deduct one mark for one mistake that u make.... they grade you according to your concepts basically and u blundered with one concept per say so I dont think you will loose more than 1-2 marks... hopefully :)

    okay wat are u considering k?? and if u are talking about using the equations of motion to solve this then it is not valid here bcz the acceleration is not constant. we can only use the equations of motion if the aceleration is constant.

    okay u got it... now explain it to me.... i used the whole method like finding the angle BAC then subtracting that from 90 to get the acute angle @A ... u know the one on the outer siide.. then the same whole method with the other one.. i'll try and show u wat i did...
