    biology practical

No its not in this case, we were given the actual and image so we had to deduce the mag from them, it was quite very simple, measure that length that read 54 micrometer, it was 22 mm =22000 micrometer, so mag=image/actual 22000/54 x407 ~x400

    biology practical

yes right, this is far beyond everyone's reach, but i did mention that ascorbic acid breaks the iodine sol and then the excess iodine reacts with starch and it changes to blue black

    biology practical

Google says: ascorbic acid + I2 --> 2 I- + dehydroascorbic acid Due to this reaction, the iodine formed is immediately reduced to iodide as long as there is any ascorbic acid present. Once all the ascorbic acid has been oxidised, the excess iodine is free to react with the starch indicator...

Check the working first and then go tio the step 1 and step 2, look we r given 1 stage div=o.1mm and i can see that 5 stage = to 50 eyepiece to i calculated the length of 5 stgae and then use it for 50 eyepiece, now for 1 eyepiece we divide it by 50. Hope it helps
