How did your Biology Paper 12 go?

For the lipid bilayer one, I only put 2. I'm sure the membrane only depends on the hydrophobic tails. I also chose Emphysema and lung cancer, made the most sense. I chose A for the membrane one, not sure why haha. And what did you choose for that cellulose question?

    Chemistry 9701 7th may ?

If you wrote the equation correctly, you would've easily gotten down to x=2. How about those other bond angle/shapes of Ethane and Ethene?

    Chemistry 9701 7th may ?

X is equal to 2. I guess a bunch of people messed up the bond angles. Did you all know about PCl5?

9700 AS level Biology P1 Complicated Problem (Might be on tomorrows paper!|)

And your answer, D, for the first variant is also incorrect. This question includes two students that have correctly identified the mean, and rounded it off to 2 significant figures, so the answer is B. Check the marking scheme once again.

9700 AS level Biology P1 Complicated Problem (Might be on tomorrows paper!|)

You just looked at the marking scheme wrong. The answer for 14 (second variant) is C. Look at the marking scheme I've given the link to below. The answer has to be a whole number, and that makes C (Student 3) the only one to have calculated it correctly. Good luck :)...

    GT for Biology P22

I'm pretty sure they mentioned they were talking about the enzyme Papain. And honestly, would it even matter? Put simply, they were talking about levels of protein structure, so the answer should be universal regardless of the substance type. That said, I could be wrong.

    GT for Biology P22

If the enzyme has no quaternary structure, then it can only contain 1 polypeptide chain. As far as I know, the answer was one.

    Chemistry paper 3 Discussionnnnn

This questions is pretty easy if you look at it. I solved it below. (d.) Part 1: How many grams of Iodine react with 884g of fat? Well, 100g react with 86.2g (given in question) so cross-multiply. (884*86.2)/100 = 762g. (which react with 884g of fat). Part 2: One mole of fat reacts...

    Biology Paper 12 Discussion.

Not much, actually, but then again there are other people aside from us ;) It seems as if more took the 1st variant as opposed to the other 2. That or the first variant was more difficult.
