    Chemistry V1, Physics V1 & Maths V2 GT´s

So what do you guys think will be the marks needed to achieve an A or A* for: Chemistry (variant 1) Physics (variant 1) Mathematics (variant 2) ... given that you give all the papers this year.

    PHYSICS p41 GT

That will probably be an A, so nothing to be worried about!

the question is worth 2 marks, isn´t there another easier way? The markscheme says something different.

Maybe work is done by the gas, rather than work done on it (the system).

    A2 Physics P4 Questions ONLY

Yeah got it! ^^ Its incredible, I´ve learned more here in 15mins than two years with my teacher! Btw, for part (iii) you get Vout as -0.12V, what does the negative sign indicate? Thank you!

Thank you! Though I didn´t understand "so, gain= 0/Vin (Vin = V2-V1)" and the jump to using potential divider formula.

Thank you, and sorry for asking so many stupid questions but, why does a shorther wavelength (and therefore a higher frequency) result in higher attenuation?

    A2 Physics P4 Questions ONLY

For (ii), there is no answer for V1? and for (iii) the ans of Vout you get is 47.9V instead of 0.128V

    A2 Physics P4 Questions ONLY

Thank you! What I don´t get is that you have calcualted the total capacitance to find the total charge? But on the question they ask for the charge one one plate of capacitor X. I simply don´t understand why the total capacitance and times by the p.d. would give the magnitude of the charge ON...

Would you mind (everyone) writing down the question paper and question number, just so anyone can look at it.
