    What is the threshold mark to get an A* and 1 in each paper ???

    I know that for pupils doing main the best they can get is an A* and a one in every paper. And for sub subjects, the best is an 'a' and a 7 in every paper. What i don't get is , when do we obtain a 1 ? I mean , what are the threshold marks?
