Grade Thresholds?

Hey guys, is the mark for an A* out of 160 or 200 in the grade thresholds released.
For example, in Physics 2014, for paper 11,31 and 51 the totals are supposed to be 40+80+40 = 160.

The A* grade is 157 for this year, if its out of 160 thats around 98%? If its out of 200, its 79%.
So which one is it out of? 160 or 200? Please reply quick!

Are you definitely sure?
Well so how do you calculate it, because the total is 160??

It's 157/200 so what should it be out of 160 ?? Let's see !!
157/200 = n/160
160 x 157/200 = n
n = 125.6 = 126
So the marks needed for A* are 126/160 !! ( I am not sure that this method is correct because If it is so , everybody would get an A*!! )

Exactly thats 79% only.
But, i checked the performance results of last year. According to CIE, 26% attained an A* in physics last year, that means it definitely can't be 157/160.

Is CIE really that lenient when it comes to grades? :O

Furthermore, for Chemistry 11,31,51 the threshold is 133 for an A*.
If out of 200. 133/200 is only 67% for an A*?!

Surely if it's out of 160, it's 83% for an A* which seems more likely, but then this also confirms that for physics it's out of 160.
157/160 is 98%?!
So confused over this.

guys its like this.. there are individual percentages for each component.. lets take physics
P1 is 30% so if u get 35/40 it'll be 26.25
P3 is 50% so if u get 65/80 it'll be 40.625
P6 is 20% so if u get 32/40 it'll be 16
Add them all up = 82.875
then = 82.875/100 × 200 = 165.75 ... those are your marks out of 200
