I have a question for you

Actually i just want to ask you that I have seen and observed in this forum several times that people always ask about rechecking of their papers. In one of the topics in this forum, someone said that a student of beacon house got D in Islamiyat and when he gave for rechecking, so he scored an A. I mean isn't this unsusual and strange!!!!!! From D to A!!!! Its imposssible for such an increase in marks. Now for example a person got D in pakistan studies and gave it for rechecking, so is it possible that he would get an A? Moreover is it possible that his marks would be deducted from D to E??

@shahlakh.....it MAY happen.......but did not heard about it before..........and yes they may decrease ........ i think that i saw something like this written some where (authentic) on a document of CIE.

bikermicefrmars I got my result. In pakistan studies i got D. But I don't believe in this grade. because I expected my grade in history to be A* and in geography to be B. So I am giving it for rechecking. I believe and I am sure that my history paper was fantastic!!!!! How come i got D? The examiner has surely done something really wrong with my paper. By the way did you give pakistan studies?? What grade did you get?

hmm.. i gave it last year ..and my history paper was very bad...infact when the paper came in front of me ...i forgot everything..i was sitting with the paper in front of me and i knew nothing to write!!! just imagine my condition...even the topic i revised just b4 entering...that too i cudnt recall!!
but my geography paper was Alhumdulilah veryyy gud!!
And i ended up with a D :!: if ur paper was really gud..then u can give it for rechecking..there's even an option in which u can request for a report of ur paper..in which comment to each of ur answer will be given and i guess even the marks awarded!! though it is expensive...but just if u wud like to choose that option...for fees u can check on www.britishcouncil.org

Maths angel, I know you are trying to say that it doesn't mean if your paper of history was good so you must get an A in pakistan sstudies, but by the way what did you expect your marks to be in geography and history? Please tell me.
Moreover i am just scared that if i gave for rechecking and suppose they deduced my mark to E so...............
That is my point. So i need your advice.

no..i didnt mean to say that u shud get grade less than that...i just mean that i did worse than u...so may be if u r sure abt ur marks to bemuch better than go for rechecking

So what did you expect your result to be in history and geography? I mean out of 75 marks. Well maths angel i think these british are really accurate and careful people so how can do mistake with my paper? I mean may be i would have got an A but by mistake they wrote D. Is that possible? Or may be they did mistake in totalling. I hope they did some really huge mistake and i get an A in pakistan studies. Its just a hope, just a hope!

well..i gave my exam in nov 2009 :!: and the rest in june 2010 !! in nov 2009 ...when i gave pak stds. and islamiat...i didnt have any proper guidance...and i didnt know where and how to study...didnt even know much abt the mark schemes and all that...that's why cant expect abt my marks :!: anyways...that mistake isnt possible...but u do one thing....offer two rakaah nafil...and say the dua-e-istikhara....and what sign u get....i mean whether or not to give for rechecking or not do that...that's the best option ...trust me uknow anybody doing something after istikhara never shall he need to regret...this is what i read sumwhere..may be in sum hadith or sum other book..i dont remember exactly!!

anyways....i hope there's a change in ur grade..InshaAllah! btw u know if there's a change in ur grade...u'll get ur fee for the enquiry back..this is what was written on the form when i gave my paper for rechecking
