I dont get it yet, why u did /1m^2 ?
and at last y u did that iput - output thingy?
we are given rate of change of volume and base area is 1 m^2 or 10000 cm^2
we know that base area x height is volume so
base area x rate of change of height(dh/dt) will be rate of change of volume (dv/dt)
since we have dv/dt and we want rate of change of height,
rate of change of height = rate of change of volume/ base area
even if you look at the units, you'll get it, that cm^3 gets cancelled with cm^2 that leaves us with cm/s which is height/time or rate of change of height...
Got it?

input-output you can also take it as
combining two equations that we had for dh/dt

You know it's the same method that they do like dv/dt =dv/dh x dh/dt, only that we did it with understanding instead of using formula

Wasnt it just 1 meter?
