What the hell's a bioreacter o.o?
yep exactly fellow assassin , fermenters ..Do you mean Fermenters by bioreactors.
yep exactly fellow assassin , fermenters ..
thanks alot broAh basically a frementer is a huge steel tank in which various things are made. Such as alcohol or enzymes.
For example the enzyme penicillin is made from the fungus penicillium. Penicilium is added to the fermenter with glucose and ammonium salts. The glucose provides it with energy for respiration and the ammonium salts are used by it to make amino acids . In a fermenter there are a few things you need to remember.
1. It has a water-cooled jacket to remove heat produced by fermentation.
2. It has a stirrer which keeps the microorganisms suspended so they always have an access to oxygen (it also spreads out the temperature evenly)
3. There are temperature and pH probes which monitor these variables just in case the temperature gets too high or too low, same with pH.
Self Pollination.what are the implications of self pollination? Cud u guys give me the advantages of cross pollination too?
thanks alot bro
