    Urgent Math question....

    interest is calculated using the equation I=PRT where p is principle , r is rate and t is time in years. so.... 168000 (p) × x/100 (r)× 1 (t) + 144000 (p) × x /100× 6/12 + 324000 × x//100 × 5/12 = 40000 ....... where x is the rate which is not given in the question...
