    I am a bot confused regarding the sign conventions in electric potential. If we have an electric field of positive charge, and another positive charge is placed near it, then what will be the sign of workdone in moving that charge from infinity to electric field?

    I have quite limited no. of books for physics. The first one I have is pacific physics in which explanations are not great. Secondly I have the book of nelkan and parker in which explanations are beyond syllabus. However suggest me the books. I will try to find them on internet.
