    I really don't remember, sorry! It was nothing special, just a book on AS/A-Level Physics given to us by the school. For Maths it was the official OCR books that we used in preparation for the exam.

    IELTS is really just to check that your English is good enough that you're not going to struggle understanding what the lecturers say, so that shouldn't be a worry. If you do as much computing as you can, then that will boost your portfolio, but don't worry if you can't take all the exams...

    Hey, I got your PM so I'm posting my two cents here, but I know nothing about SATS at all. Where are you from? I thought SATs were an American thing. In England anyway, most people just take A-levels (I don't know anyone who hasn't done A-levels to go to uni). Would they be as well as A-levels...

    Yes of course - all I'm trying to say is that AS levels only count by themselves. As soon as you convert them into A2 levels, then the AS effectively stops existing.

    AS grades are like a stepping stone to A2 - if you can get to the full A2 without using that stepping stone then it doesn't matter. They're still useful, as ExoticPlayer09 said, for making applications to unis, as it makes it really clear what you're capable of achieving.

    This post looks to me like he quoted the original post, attempting to make an entry (but doing it wrong and late, sadly). It seems that Osama the Great has interpreted the post as Azam winning, but it doesn't look like it to me - that's all I'm saying.

    If you're planning to retake your AS exams, then they probably haven't been certificated, which means that you don't HAVE to declare them on your university application. You can then just submit predicted grades. It's really important, though, that these predicted grades are realistic, otherwise...

    Full notes haven't yet been submitted - only single chapter samples have been, and I imagine only the full notes of sufficiently high quality will be published online.
