Teacher, coach, and now storyteller. After decades of working with young people in Vermont’s Mad River Valley, I started writing down the moments that stayed with me: the laughs in the hallway, the races won and lost, and the quiet lessons that only show up years later. My book, Just Raise Your Left Hand, brings those experiences together in short, easy-to-read chapters that teachers, parents, and anyone who remembers a great (or tough!) school day can enjoy. If you like Vermont teacher stories with humor and heart. I’m here to join good conversations about education, coaching, and the stories that make us who we are.
