I know How the grade is calculated but I wanted to know that if you get above 90% (percentile score) in AS and then A2 as well (hopefully). Then do you get an A* ?

The paper was quite easy though once or twice i was confused. unfortunately i think this will be making the percentile high so its basiclly not all that advantageous.

Who the hell told you that? O.o Theres no "number" of seats for anyone. You just give the entry tests and the top students are choosen (some 1500 or so) and adjusted in fields according to their position in entry test and their personal preferences. it has nothing to do with whether you did A or...
