poollane

Pool lanes are often found in standard-sized pools, especially those designed for professional training or competitions. A typical Olympic pool, for instance, has eight or ten lanes, each measuring 2.5 meters wide. The ropes are colored differently to help swimmers identify their lane positions easily. The outer lanes usually have darker colors, while the middle lanes are lighter or brighter to stand out.
