Working as a VP of Technology may look impressive from the outside, but behind the scenes it’s a constant balance between strategy, people, and risk. The hardest part is making decisions in uncertainty, when a single choice can define the entire technical direction of the company. You have to manage teams, budgets, architecture, and long-term development all at once.
It becomes even more challenging when the company runs several products in parallel. In one of the projects — Chicken Road 2 — I had to build the technical workflow almost from scratch: choose the right stack, assemble a strong team, and maintain quality while releasing at high speed.
