Well obviously, when a person who has a paper in 3 hours with NO preparation, comes across a status where PAST students are discussing the syllabus; she's gonna freak out!

I wouldn't judge a pupil's preparation myself, just saying. You should not be telling others that they have no preparation. Especially just 3 hours before the exam. That will just cause the person to become tensed.
