Thank you soooo much amy! <3
Amen! And may He bless and protect you! :) what does du'as mean?? :S

It is an act of supplication and it is when we ask for Allah for forgiveness and favors (all you need). We say Ameen at the end of each dua not Amen.

It is called Tasbih. Tasbih is a form of Zikr (Remembrance of Allah). Tasbih is a thread containing beads, 33 in a short one and 99 in a long one. It used to count the number of times you say words/short phrases which glorify Allah.

What i usually do after Namaz is the Tasbih of Fatima
in the order
1. Subhan'Allah (33 times) - "Glory be to Allah"
2. Alhamdulillah (33 times) - "Praise to be Allah"
3. Allahu Akbar (34 times) - "Allah is the greatest"

Any more doubts, PM me.

When you recite these short phrases/words, it should be done silently.

Yes, It is similar. Of course you can say them in English for a start, but slowly learn it in arabic. Say it like you murmur. As many times as you like, but, in the tasbih of fatimah, its 34.
