Why do you ask? Are you a fellow tribute or don't like the series?

In response, YES! I am a huge fan of the world Suzanne Collins created, the characters, the social commentary and how it applies to our modern world, the story, the darkness, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

i read the three books in three days, though its likeable and i do love it but she failed to top Rowling. im a fan but then again i am also a fan of other fictions too, what i dont like in it is the childish english she uses,(im 19 so expect that from me

Well, she was never competing with Rowling in the first place. Both series are so very different novels. THG is YA Sci-Fi/ Satire while HP is YA Fantasy/ Juvenile. THG is written in 1st person perspective of 16 YEAR OLD Katniss and no one else while HP is third Person perspective. Have you read Huckleberry Finn? From there you can get an example of a young narrator of a story written in childish language.

Same case with Katniss. We are being told her story through her POV and no one elses. Her leaving school after her father died to take care of Prim and her mother could be a reason why she uses simple English. These series were intended to be for the Young Adult Audience(12-14) and above, not an overly complex novels of fantasy like A Song of Ice and Fire.

THG is inspired by SC's father when he served in the war of vietnam and while watching Survivor and thought to combine the two. It is also inspired by Thesus and the Minotaur, Rome itself, evident through the names and the Capitol itself, The games etc.

And it truly shows ure passion for hunger games !

I admit i am a a BIG tribute. I can't wait for the upcoming movies, seeing the high quality of the first one.
