acha tell me, 2,4 DNP when is added to alcohols. So what can be observed? :)
Aldehyde mai tou red-orange ppt banta hai
and maybe same for ketone :)

2,4-DNPH gives postive only for C=O grp.. so wid Aldehydes and Ketones it gives positive test but for Alcohols since dere is no C=O u cant have a positive test... so no change :)
