I just fail to understand that if someone is Messi or Ronaldo's fan, why does that person have to hate the other to bits. I mean I love Ronaldo but I like Messi too. If someone's a true football fan, he can't hate either of 'em because both play quality football.

Neither do I hate Ronaldo, my claims are only against those fans who think Ronaldo is a BETTER player than Messi which makes me go like, ''Come on! Why don't you appraise their past and current Statistics (leaving the International ones)''

I think Ronaldo shows more diversity in his play. All Messi has is a few more goals and more trophies (the entire team's contribution). And if we count all the goals, international and friendlies, Ronaldo has more of them.

Ronaldo has a better 'Rate of scoring/with respect to time' while Messi has 'More goals' if you consider the International and Friendlies as well. With respect to my opinion, one is the best PLAYER (of all times) and the other is the best WINGER.

Just the number of goals does not make someone the better player. Ronaldo is a more complete player, considering his headers, penalties and scoring from both the left and the right foot.
