On a related note, I seem to have lost my powers since I made the name.

You mean, powerless from Apr 9, 2010? :O
You must've lost the job :p

You misunderstand me, I was talking about my powers of imagination. They've faded a lot since. I'm still a kid at heart though. For example, I always assume everyone has seen spongebob.

That's quite some explanation. i have figured you're not in favor of the little, humorous replies that everyone posts here on Xpc but you opt for something more serious with a little tinge of fun. Your tone of writing makes it look good. *Handshakes* Nice to meet you.

Likewise. :) And thank you for the compliment. I don't think I've written much on Xtremepapers though. Are you talking about my post on appearing privately?

*facepalm* I'm talking about the comments you post, like the ones above :p

Those are nothing, usually I write long articles or essays, and I think of everything as practice to get better. I'm not terribly good so far but one of the authors that inspire me (and I really recommend because I think you'll enjoy his stuff) is Orson Scott Card. His style of writing is subtle, direct but what gets you are the insight and ideas he manages to drop everywhere.

I want to be a writer known (if at all) for ideas, with a style good enough to express it and convince

If you want, I can send you a PDF collection of his Ender's Game series. You'll be hooked, I guarantee it. And reading is by and far the best method to improve on any language. Even better than listening, because people don't often put as much thought into the spoken word as the one they write.

Oh and I've heard of Ender's Game as well. I'll give it a read sometime for sure (y)

OK, talent deserves criticism. You've a brilliant imagination, but how harsh do you want it? I used to give E. Lang. tuition (for O levels) and I can dish it out, I assure you.
Muhammad TAimoor
Muhammad TAimoor
You gave tuitions?! At like, 19?
F
Firebender
English tuitions. Much less impressive. I just got an A* in Olevel Eng. Lang and Lit and signed myself up to give private lessons at the tuition center I was going to. You have to qualify yourself to your students, but thats it. I think I'm an okay teacher. I've taught 2 students 1-on-1, at 3000 rs per month for a few months

As for being an OK teacher, I think for my sake, I better be. Since I'm self-taught for A levels, appearing privately without tuitions for all of my subjects. I wrote a really long post detailing it a while back, which is what I thought you'd originally read.

*High Five* I am self taught as well from olevels. And by self taught, I mean no tutions or academies, but still there's school :p I presume you're done with your Alevels, right?
