Hey! I'm good, AH. :D You?
Narrative. It was a given for me.I can't describe to save my life and my teacher always told me my writing style is too casual for my own good, so i steered clear of the comprehensive part for the exam :p She also said that while writing the English paper choose what you're most comfortable with.

I already knew i was taking narrative so I never bothered with the options; saves time and avoids confusion.
Also, with C.I.E., as long as you feed them big words in the appropiate places you're good to go_Ofcourse grammar and sentence structures need to be correct too, but you're good at both so you need not stress.

Thats what a friend would do, she'd sit with this dictionary/thesaurus and mug up all sorts of impressive words, you should know she happened to get excellent marks in A levels English :D
You're stressing too much  Solve past papers, practice makes perfect is not just a hawa mein bana hua statement you know :p Do good IA :D Ameen

Ahem... was that a reference to me! ;)
Anyways... as Sumaiya pointed out, go for what seems most comfortable, some people are good at spinning up fast paced stories, others can describe a still thing/ event/ person etc in great detail and usually they have awesome vocab, others are the logical types who'd just write straight to the point arguments.

Find out where you fit...
And just one more additional tip to add to the wealth of advice Sumaiya shared with you, READ, READ and READ a LOT!
If you're the narrative type, pick up a good book... even Harry Potter is great for that matter.
And likewise read texts from the other genres... google for great blogs on the topics that have appeared in the previous papers...

Lastly, believe in yourself! And hope your pen is working!:p
All the very best

One more thing. I think im gonna go with narrative, but i was wondering if i had to produce complicated stories with plot twisters and everything, or is it possible that i keep it simple with typical bed-time story format and still score an A or above??
