cn u tell me da ans 4 da reason y convection currents occur in a liquid. dere ws a question lyk dat, but i dnt knw xactly wat.

because convection is caused .. by acctual movement of molecules
eg :- the molecule having the energy moves
whereas in conduction the molecules transfer energy by vibrations
thats it .. the answer was lid stops convection...
convection here is that the hot steam is rising right ?
so if there is a lid it willl trap the steam and reduce convection ...

there was one more about the pivot with 10 N acting on the top one towaards the rite and the othr towards the left
i ticked the option saying anticlockwise..is it correct?
because i noticed tht the force applied distance was far from the piston...so further away fr mthe piston easier 2 push? am i correct?....hope u undrstood my point..!
