Reasonably good O/A level equivalence, good entry test, and luck.
Its pretty easy to get in but it varies from case to case. Requirements are typical 60% plus marks in Fsc/matric or O/A levels. The rest. Its a competitive exam like all other universities so the merits change every year.

same happened with me. and another thing i wanted to know! is it true that you get jon in atomic energy during your degree? or after? i mean the government job with all the benefits and pension etc.?

Have you sbmitted the fee voucher? Well they dont really communicate whether they received your docs or not but they will send you guys your test admission letters by end of may I reckon.

there are inductions from other organizations such as NESCOM etc during your BS. Our batch has its names sent to NESCOM and they will select 5 people from us to join them. However, you can join the PAEC after your bachelors degree by joining their MS program.
