how can u detrmine the number of stomata present on 1 surface of a whole leaf .....4 mark question

wash da leaf n put it in a microscopic slide wid water in it. usin a microscope count da number of stomata on da surface. find da area of da leaf dat is viewed. calculate da area of da leaf. multiply da number of stomata for da whole leaf

count da number of squares dat is completely occupied by da leaf. estimate da number of squares da rest of da leaf can occupy

sum of da squares in da grid is partially occupied by da leaf, n sum r completely occupied. count da number of squares completely occupied. try 2 form full squares wid da remainin parts of da leaf. add dis number wid da total number of full squares. u'll get around 30

usin a potometer dat measures da intake of water by da distance moved by an air/water meniscus. two potometers of da same typ shud b used. da same temp n light conditions shud b provided. da vol of water given shud also b da same. measure da distance moved by da meniscus after da same tym period
