Oh yes after 6 months I guess you can.
Not really keep updating it. Add an about me (that you have added), add a "Privacy Policy" page and "Contact us" page. They are pre-requisites for adsense. if your blog has these, and you update frequently, adsense gets accepted pretty quickly on blogspot
