O/A level is concept based. Its not ratta/rote learning. Fsc/Matric hasnt been revised. Its old outdated system. That is why everyone prefers O/Alevels

When you go to local universities, your equivalence becomes very important. For equivalence in O/A levels, your Olevel forms around 80% of your equivalence.
