I read that article of which u gave the link in that thread..... It was written that Sahabas never celebrated Milaad.... But the thing is that whenever they gathered at some place they would say "let's talk about the Prophet S.A.W.W. ..... I

COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD THE FACT that we shouldn't specifically celebrate on Rabi ul Awal, and i completely agree.... But about this Sahaba thing i am not very sure if you're right! And one more question....

Jus bcs Sahab didnt do it (if u believe that they didnt) it does not mean that we cant do it either, i am NOT saying the we love him more than them DEFINITELY NOT.. But its just that everybody Has their own way... And ppl are not adding anything to the religion by themselves.... It is in the the Quran : “Wara F’ana laka Dhikrak’

see we cant introduce anything new in the religion, we only do stuff that the prophet(SAWS) did,or we see the way of sahaba as they were the best of the best of the generation, n rasoolAllah asked us to follow them...
