How is the A* grade calculated in English as a second language? Does it depend on a curve? if yes then what is average for this curve? or for example last year from which percent was it considered A* or is it a uniform percentage? if yes then what is it? because in the grade threshold i find grades for the components only. Thanks in advance.

it depends where u live
here it is curve....its not fixed it is calculated as follows
the highest mark of the batch u r in is A*......and 50 as the limit
there is A*,A,B,C,D,E ...these r the passing grades which are 6 in total
so the (highest mark - 50) divided by 6
these should give u a value suppose 8
so highest-8 is A* , highest-16 is A ,....so on
idk about where u live
correct me if iam wrong
