Have you adjusted the favourable usage variance ???
like the actual cost of material if you calculate you should have got 1.2 and budgeted material was 45000 so actual cost which was asked in the question, did you do onli 45000*1.2 = 54000 (option B) or have you done 57000 in the paper ????
Yes i have .... By the way i am expecting 26 or 27 ... I just doubt in tht variances question... Was the answer B or C ???

There was one more question which confused me little, i don't exactly remember the question number, nut it was like if someone purchases a business at a value less than the net assets of the business being purchased, then how will this transaction be shown in the business who is purchasing.... ?? I was confused between capital reserve and debit goodwill..
But atlast i have done capital reserve coz in summer 2009 paper 3, a same situation was given with calculation and there the answer was crdit capital reserve... Anyways wht hve you done ???
I even credited the capital reserve
