Advise for retake needed.

My country just released the As/A2 results today. Yeah i know it is slow.

I got A for my chemistry As. The breakdown is A B A. Overall : A

Should i retake chemistry As? Because i think the June 2011 paper 2 was a bit tough for me.

You got A, what else do you want? There is no A* in AS.

i know what you all mean. but i am an average student. i might not get A in A2. so will it help if i retake?

No don't do that. Your grades are fine. Just work hard for A2.

NO, there is no reason why you should retake your AS level. Even if you get a high B at A2 level, you may end up with an A or an A*. Basically, a guy who can get an A at AS level, does have the calibre to get a good enough result in A2 if he works hard in the same way.

It's unusual to see those words in the same sentence.

Anyway, I agree with those all above, with A in AS. That e'nuff.

Just concentrate on ur A2.

& it's not like you'll end up getting a lower grade in AS! It's a high A that you scored, work hard for P4, accounts majorly for the result..you'll end up with an A*
