Applying for NUST and FAST - Private Candidate

hey,
does it make a difference if I do my A levels privately from CIE and then apply for a university in Pakistan?
Because i've heard from many people that school going A level applicants are more preferred by Pakistani universities.

Yeah school students are more preferred because school certifies your grades and behavior.
This is not the case with private candidates.
