For our bio exam, should we study and memorise all the processes of sewage treatment, or should we just understand the main concept.

For our bio exam, should we study and memorise all the processes of sewage treatment, or should we just understand the main concept.

I've never seen it come up in a question, and didnt see it in the syllabus either. I would just know the two methods are trickling filter and activated sludge, they simply are what their names say, so just understand what is used, ie, microorganisms.
