can anyone explain the term Ceteris paribus :?

the term is used mainly with demand and supply concept... its definition is that other things remaining equal.. e.g if the price of the product chnges then theres a chnge along the curve, and we shud nt take into account the inflation, interest rates and other factors...

The term ceterius paribus is a latin phrase which means if all other things remaining constant or same. It is widely used in economics often to simplify analysis and using this helps to ignore known and unknown factors which can affect outcomes.
