Make sure your summary is no longer than 1 PAGE, if it is you get penalised. Also remember to always use your own words in the summary unless there is no other way of saying a particular word. Summaries are the easiest way to pick up marks, most of it is just for content (15) and the 5 remaining are for quality of writing. Even if your writing is horrible, as long as you have the content it's 15 easy marks.
For question two always remember to EXPLAIN the EFFECT of the words, techniques, or phrases you have identified. First state the word or phrase, state it's meaning, then describe how it creates an effect.
For question one they often try to get you develop a character. Remember to give characters in whatever they ask you to write distinct personalities which can be inferred from how they are described in the passage.
