Forgot my HTC wildfire S password

my sister was playing with my mobile and she entered the pattern lock wrong too many times. Now my mobile is asking for gmail username and password which i forgot....please tell me someway to reset it...i dont care abojut my data....i jst want my phone back i tried the hard reset method bt it doesnt work
