Guys i need to know if this is OK for the ICT practical paper 2

I did it a few weeks ago, when i started i did not have a pen, so i asked my teacher and he said it was OK to write your name, center and candidate number in pencil. I just wanna know what you people think? I think it's OK to write it in pencil, since your entire test, including printouts went into a folder already with your name on in.
