AOA.I have given o level exams and waiting for it's result.i want to ask how many subjects are to be taken in A level?

At least 3. Preferably 5 (especially in case you want to apply abroad). If you want to study locally then just take the desired subjects like phy, chem and maths. No need to waste time and money on giving extra subjects that are not recognized locally.

And if i want to go to LUMS,FAST then?

3 is enough. Pick core subjects of course.
