i should have done the same probably, the range would've been equally spreadi took 7 readings..! 10,20,30,40,50,60,70...!! spacing of 10 m...!!

i mean my voltage values were like 0.450, 0.789, 0.560 etc , and my gradient ws 1.19 V , so if i used the coordinates (0.450, 0.450 ) in the line y = mx + c, my intercept came out to be -0.0855 but u r saying y intercept ws -0.79 , are u sure it wasnt -0.079 ????I wrote 0.23mm

We are just sharing our answers and they are pretty much same which makes us feel better !How can you peeps be so sure that YOUR gradient and y intercept was right? Do not confuse others by coming up with different answers. I have confirmed the right answers already. So relax and study for P4 now.
