Why do we find the square roots of the previous ans???

u are asked to solve means calculate the value of Z in both cases..........so for 1st one u have no prblm...now for the 2nd one, here's an xplaination..

if u calculate z=2 ....and have to calculate Z from z^2 means jus take a root....!!
