Movement of electron in an Electric Field!

Guys I need help in questions relating uniform electric fields between two plates and an electron or a proton passing through it. And we're required to find the acceleration or speed of the particle and whether it will touch the plate or pass through it.. I dont have a question at the moment but if any of you understand what Im talking about please do help. Thanks.
