OMG THANK YOU SO MUCHI)Well you got the equation for part A use the slant height which is 10 cm,= Pi X radius which is 9/2 times the slant height (= 4.5 x 10 x PI )
Now for II) use Pythagoras theorem which is c^2=A^2 + B^2 C=10 the hyptonis so its 10^2=4.5^2 + H^2 so 100=20.25 x H^2 H^2= 100-20.25= 79.75 Square root it which equals to 8.930285555 convert it to 3 significant figure so 8.93
for B) the Bigger Cone is 3 times bigger in radius than the small cone so its 9/3=8.93/x cross multiplications so 8.93 x 3 = 9x 26.79=9x 26.79/9= 2.97666 which means 2.977
II)Curved surface area el pi x radius x slant height so 1.5 x pi x Slant Height Which can obtain using Pythagoras theorem mentioned in II so it equals to 1.5 x pi x (3.336) which rounds up to 15.7
i'll post c) in a minute after i solve it give me 2 min
Lets see what i got so farfor C ) u need to calculate the surface area of the curved part of the Shaded cone which can be done in more than 1 way the large cone area in part a) I) minus the small cone area or calculate it using the equations radius x slant height x pi or you can use cross multiplications by using the small side over the large one all of it squared = the small area over the large one anyway after you get the curved surface area
now you got the area of the cone , now you need to calculate the area of the cylinder so the area of the shape is now equal to 125.3 (curved Surface area of cone )+ curved surface area of cylinder so 2 pi x 4.5 x12 area of cylinder = 339.292 we got a total of 464.592 but we still need to add the area of the circles
Ouch :O ":OAnytime i needed to revise math since my external is coming up and i have physics arabic and math paper 4 same day good luck
*fourOuch :O ":O
i have math paper for an physics the same day to
bt arabic's before tht
good lck to u to
yeahThanks your doing edexcel arabic first language ?
from OmanHaha Nice me too where you from ?
ohh btw i forgot to tell you after yo u add the cylinder and the curved surface area add the area of the circle which is pi x 4.5 ^2 and the area of the small circle above the cone which is 1.5 ^2 x Pi so its gives you an answer about 535 or 536
inti min Oman me 2from Oman
wbu?
Hahah halainti min Oman me 2
min wattiyah muscat inti??Hahah hala
ay min 3man <3
