salam, DOES ANY BODY KNOWS HOW TO EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING POINT?

Why was Martial Law declared in 1958?

THIS IS WHAT THE MS SAYS:

There were a number of Prime Ministers between 1956 and 1958 and it
reached a stage when Ayub Khan achieved that status that he felt the army
should take control until stability had been restored and questions answered.
East Pakistan’s politicians wanted more say in the running of the central
government which increased tension.

I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE HIGHLIGHTED POINT

can anybody tell a proper answer to it

thnks in advance :)

Martial law was declared in 1958 by General Iskander mirza and he appointed Ayub khan as chief martial law administrator.Declaration of martial law was solely due to fast political maneuvers and changes that took place in the country.During period of 1955-1957 a period of uncertainty 4 prime ministers changed posts.Iskander mirza was appointed as firs president of pakistan and he wanted to appoint those people as P.M who could serve him as a puppet but this was not to be and mirza could not devalop good working relations with them. There were coalition ministries in provinces and it was difficult to reach a consensus on most matters of state.Muslim league had lost its importance.New parties created more confusion than coherence.Merging of four provinces and introduction of one unit scheme created great dissatisfaction among the east pakistanis who now lost their right to demand extra weightege in assemblies.Pakistan was having a bad international scene. There was a political crisis in ruling party and so keeping in view of unpleasent situation in the country and the fact that population was not implying to government General iskander mirza along with aid of ayub khan abbograted the constitution and introduced martial law.

SORRY for spelling mistakes wrote it quickly otherwise its a perfect answer i guess....HOPE RHIS HELPS
