As the temperature increases, the resistance of the thermistor will decrease, so the overall resistance of the 5000 ohm resister in parallel with the thermistor will decrease according to 1/Rt=1/R1+1/R2
so accordingly, the voltage through it decreases too (V=RI)
and the voltage through the 2000 ohm resister will increase (Vt=V1+V2)
so the reading in the voltmeter will increase as the temperature will decrease.

V1=3.6V therefore................................V2=6-3.6=2.4V
R1=2000...............................................R2=5000x/5000+x......(where x is the resistance of the thermistor)
I1=V1/R1
I1=5000/3.6=555.55A therefore......... I2=555.5( I1=I2)
now u can use the formula R=V/I to calculate the value of x
