A => it has nothing to do with thermal expansion;
B => when pressure increases..matlab volume decreases. Tou no expansion (for gases thermal expansion is due to increase in volume);
C involves melting;
D involves convection current .. tou definitely it's D.

I get it. Here's what I think: When a tungsten filament lamp is switched on, its resistance INCREASES due to rise in temp so A is wrong. C is of course melting. But in B, the gas cylinder has a fixed volume and an increase in temp would cause the gas's pressure to rise. so it could be B or D. confused...

tou Monsieur/Madame .. When there is FIXED VOLUME involved.. how could there be any chance of Thermal Expansion!!
