PLS HELP ME WITH THis question all parts

9. a) Diode
b) i) 22+2=24 ohms
Because the resistors are in series.
ii) Resistors in Parallel. so that's (24 mutiplied by 8) divided (24+8)
Answer 6 ohms.
c) Zero current. The diode prevents any current from passing through because the diode is reverse biased; the current does not follow the direction of the diode's arrow.
d) Formula to use R=V/I and P=VI
Switch Position A-
4/2=2 P=VI P=2*4=8W
Sp not A.
Switch Position B-
4/8= 0.5A P=o.5*4= 2W
So it is Position Switch B.
